Achieve a professional press with your Alpha DTF Transfers by following these five easy steps.
- No Pre-Press Needed: Skip the pre-press or pre-iron step; removing moisture isn't necessary. Pre-press only if preferred.
- Position Your Design: Carefully align your transfer in the desired spot. Usually, heat-resistant tape isn’t needed for flat heat presses, but it’s highly recommended for hats or when using an iron. Our DTF Alignment Ruler Set offers precise positioning.
- Press: Use medium pressure at 310°F / 155°C for 15 seconds. While the transfer is durable, too much heat can damage the garment, so test first and use parchment paper or a protective sheet.
- Cool and Peel: : Let the transfer cool for at least 15-30 seconds. Speed up cooling with our Fast Cool Peel Air Transfer Blower. Peel from one corner, ensuring every part adheres. If peeling issues arise, re-press with more pressure and time (+5-10 seconds), or increase heat by 15°F increments until it transfers perfectly.
- Final Press & Wash: Cover with parchment paper or a single layer of t-shirt material, then press for 15 seconds to soften the design and enhance durability.
