4. Complete DTF Printing Process Step by Step

Step 1: Prepare the Artwork

Begin with clean artwork. PNG files are common because they support transparent backgrounds. Prepare the design at the final print size and use about 300 DPI when possible. Enlarging a low-resolution image will not restore detail.

Remove unwanted backgrounds, stray pixels, hidden objects, and transparent marks. Check small text and thin lines. Very fine details may not receive enough white ink or powder. Convert fonts to outlines when using editable files.

Step 2: Configure the RIP Software

Step 9: Press the Transfer

Step 10: Peel and Finish Press
